Red 9 Rugby
Their vision was to establish a thriving community based around grass-roots welsh rugby, tied in with an online shop selling Red 9 Rugby branded rugby clothing and accessories.
Working closely with the Red 9 Rugby team over a number of months, we designed a distinctive website that visually communicates the brand's focus and passion for welsh rugby.
The website features news articles, blogs, discussion forums and photo galleries that allow the Red 9 Rugby team to keep visitors up to date with events. Visitors are able to register with the website to comment on items and contribute to the discussion forums, providing a level of engagement designed to create a true community.
Our e-commerce solution is tightly integrated with the website. This includes a product catalogue that allows visitors to browse, search for and filter products, a customer registration and checkout process, and integration with Barclaycard's EPDQ payment system to handle online card payments.
The solution supports the administration of a range of special offer promotions and Red 9 Rugby's unique club rebate scheme. We also developed a custom component that allows visitors to design and purchase their own custom rugby kit.
