Do I have to choose one of your packages?
No. Our Business Starter, Business Plus and e-Commerce packages have been designed to address our customers' most common requirements. However, there will always be occasions where a customer needs something a bit different.
On these occasions we will design a custom package that is tailored to your specific requirements. During the intial consultation, we will confirm which of our standard packages is most appropriate to your needs or if a custom package is required.
How long will it take to get my new website?
We will advise you of the expected timescales for delivering your new website when we provide your quote. If you have specific deadlines that must be met, please make us aware of this during the initial consultation.
As a general guide, the majority of websites are usually live within 4 to 6 weeks of the initial consultation.
Do I have to host my website with you?
No. You are free to choose where to host your new website.
Most customers take advantage of our 3 months free hosting and then, having seen how reliable our hosting services are, remain with us long term.
However, if you wish to host your website elsewhere, simply advise us of this during the initial consultation and we will provide full details of the technical requirements that your chosen hosting service must meet to support the website.
I'm not based in Cardiff, do we need to meet in person?
No. While we do prefer to hold our intial consultation face-to-face, we understand that sometimes this will not be convenient, especially for customers based outside Cardiff.
Where this is the case, we will be pleased to conduct the consultation by telephone.
What are your payment terms?
Design and development charges for most projects will be invoiced to you on completion of the website. For larger projects, we will agree payment milestones in advance.
We may require a deposit. Where this is the case, full details will be provided with your quote.
Hosting charges may be paid monthly, quarterly or annually. Simply let us know your preference during the intial consultation.
Our standard payment terms are 30 days from invoice date. We accept payment by cheque (except for hosting charges paid monthly) or electronic funds transfer.
We do not accept payment by cash or debit/credit card.
Will I be tied into a contract?
If you decide to cancel a website design and development agreement, you will be liable to pay a portion of the quoted cost; this will be calculated on a pro-rata basis to reflect the time already spent on the project, minus any deposit already paid.
You may cancel a website hosting agreement at any time by simply letting us know before the next invoice is due. You will, however, remain liable for all charges already invoiced at the time of cancellation.
