Google Dropping Support for Old Browsers

Google is dropping support for older browsers from 1st August.

From this date, Google will only provide full support for the latest version of each browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 4) and the previous major version.

People using older browsers will lose some functionality when using Google applications such as Gmail and Google Docs. Eventually, the applications may stop working altogether.

This will effect users of these applications still on relatively popular browser versions such as Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3.5.

Regardless of whether you are affected by this change, we would recommend that all users upgrade to the latest version of their preferred browser as this offers the richest and most secure browsing experience.
